About the Artist / Artist Statement

Jesse Narens is a self-taught traveling artist currently based in the midwest. A former apprentice to another Rotofugi Gallery artist, Jesse Reno, Narens’ work evokes nature and is bursting with energy and color. His compositions always invite further inspection and discovery and serve as a reminder that there is beauty in change.

This is Jesse's first exhibit at Rotofugi Gallery.

"My art is a reminder to go outside. To interact with nature, and bring it into my home. Hang my art on your walls, or place it on your window sill next to a plant and some sticks you found in the woods. My art is a reminder that everything is temporary, and there is beauty in change. Leave my art in your garden and let it get eaten by bugs."
