About the Artist / Artist Statement

Travis is a multicellular Chicago based artist. His influences are disparate and mysterious, but include one or more of the following: old-timey cartoons, Dr. Suess, the concept of Sadness, bread, Lovecraft stories, animal husbandry, hats. He enjoys not painting elbows. Travis tries to be "funny," but tends to come across as "kind of an ass" when writing his own, ultimately un-enlightening artist bio. Sigh. He apologizes.

This is Travis' third exhibit at Rotofugi Gallery.
