About the Artist

Hello! I’m Melissa.

Lush green and blue landscapes of Midwestern summers are the heart of what inspires me. My work explores open fields and deep forests, finding small moments of magic and mystery hidden in the gardens and mossy environments.

My storytelling project, The Woolbeasts, discovers the denizens of these worlds. The Woolbeasts are all hand-crafted in my “Treehouse Studio” here in Chicago, Illinois. I’ve been sculpting and illustrating these creatures for nearly 20 years. They’re collected in homes all over the world and have been shown in galleries across the United States.

Shipping

All shipping charges will be invoiced separately within 5 days of the end of the exhibit, or as soon as we have the artwork packaged if this is no longer our current exhibit.
